
HEALTH & SAFETY TRAINING
With the new Construction (Design & Management) Regulations 2007 (CDM) that came into effect in April 2007, it requires that all employers of construction workers ensure that they are competent in a range of health and safety issues, so receiving training on a regular basis is essential.
We can offer a variety of Health & Safety related training courses either in-house, or at a training centre arranged by our staff.
Courses currently offered, but not limited to, are:
- First Aid at Work (3day)
- Emergency First Aid (1day)
- First Aid at Work Refresher (2day)
- SMSTS (CITB Site Management Safety Training Scheme 5day)
- SSSTS (CITB Site Supervisors Safety Training Scheme 2day)
- Manual Handling Principles (1/2 day)
- Manual Handling Principles and Practice (1day)
- Working at Height
- Level 2 Award in Manual Handling - Principles and Practice
- Level 2 Award in Principles of Manual Handling
- Level 3 Award in Preparing to Teach in the Lifelong Learning Sector
- Level 3 Award in Training Skills and Practice
- Level 3 Award PTLLS Conversion
- Various on-site Toolbox Talks incorporating a 20-30 minute video and a Q & A session
