

HEALTH & SAFETY
We have a pro-active approach to Health & Safety and we employ two members of staff who hold a Nebosh Construction Certificate. Our Managing Director is a Full Member member of the International Institute of Risk and Safety Management (IIRSM), a Graduate member of IOSH, a registered member of the Association of Project Safety (APS) and a registered CDM-Coordinator.
Our Site Supervisors have all attended the Site Management Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS) course and all on-site staff are First Aid trained.
Our H & S approach include:
- Fully trained and competent staff
- Regular on-site safety audits
- Site specific risk assessment
- Use of full range of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
- Liaison with Client's staff affected by work activities
- Hazards and Risks controlled at work site
- Electotechnical Certification Scheme (ECS cards)
Our staff are all trained in the duties under Health & Safety Law of employer and employees which include:
- Accident reporting (RIDDOR)
- Construction Health, safety and welfare 1996 regulations
- Falls from height and falling objects
- Control of substances hazardous to health COSHH
- Safe access with steps and ladders
- PPE employer and employee duties
- Safe Systems of Work and risk assessments
- Noise, COSHH and handling assessments
- Health, safety and welfare policy and procedures
- PUWER inspections
- Work at Height
- Safe use of electricity
- Manual handling of loads
- Safe mobile tower erection
- Asbestos awareness
- Employee consultation
- Staff handbooks
